Private Instruction
One-on-one lessons tailored to the rider, with a string of more than thirty horses to match temperament and ability. Beginners are grounded first in horsemanship — grooming, tacking and leading — before progressing in the saddle.
A professional training program where serious riders are developed with patience and precision — across hunters, jumpers, dressage, eventing and western pleasure, on a private ten-acre facility.
Good riding is not rushed. It is built — quietly, correctly, and with respect for the horse at every step.
Our instructors are accomplished across the major English disciplines and western pleasure, allowing riders to specialise — or to build a broad, classical foundation before they choose their path.
Private instruction is the heart of the program. From there, riders progress into leasing, competition and intensive clinics as their goals take shape. Lessons are available 7am–8pm, seven days a week, by arrangement.

A considered route toward horse ownership. Leasing offers the experience and responsibility of a horse of your own — and, for families, an honest measure of a young rider's commitment — without the full obligation of purchase.
Discuss a lease →Riders ready to compete are supported through our IEA team and an active “show with us” program — coached preparation, stabling logistics and ringside support at recognised shows throughout the season.
Join the show program →Immersive summer and holiday camps build skill and confidence over full days at the barn, while private events bring the experience of the stable to celebrations and groups. Places are limited and reserved early.
Reserve a place →Carrots and apples are welcome with an instructor's blessing — please never offer human food or treats to any horse without a team member's permission.
Knowledgeable and approachable instructors who hold safety and correctness above all — led by owner and head trainer Michelle Stephenson, who has built this program since 2004.
